Richmond High School
Logansport High School
The Red Devils made the long trip to Logansport Friday night, and the injuries continued to pile up. Blaine Pierce, Oshay Henderson, Kaleb Wages, Brandon Curtis, and Jackson Haynes all left the game with injuries and did not return. The Devils haven’t had much luck in the injury department this year, playing without most of the starters since week one. The young Devils team is hoping to get healthy in time for Sectionals.
Offensively Jerrell Deloney, and Wyatt Byrd had solid games running the football. The highlight of the night offensively was the solid play of Treshawn Jones, who is now playing QB full time. With a cannon of an arm and athleticism to pull it down and run, it adds another element to the struggling Red Devils offense.
Defensively, Brice Brown, Caleb Ellis, Jacob Jones, and Brandton Thomas were all out this week. Ron Sanders finally returned and made an instant impact. Mikey Vance had another solid performance, playing linebacker.
The Red Devils have one of the toughest games of the season this upcoming week when the number #9 ranked team in class 6A Lafayette Jeff.
