Boys 7th Grade Basketball Test Intermediate · Test 7th Grade Boys Basketball Updates

11-16-17 at New Castle

Nick Whalen lead the Test 7th grade with 9 points and Dameon Newman added an additional 6 points, but the Tigers still fell short to the shooting of the New Castle Trojans (54 – 26 ). We were only down 3 at the half and I hoped we would come out and play with more intensity but after a couple quick 3’s by New Castle and a couple missed shots from us we slowly started to let it get away . We need to learn to dig deep when our shots aren’t falling for us and tighten up our defense.

11-21-17 with Driver (Winchester)

Tuesday November 21 looked as if the 7th grade basketball team ate an early Thanksgiving turkey, because it took them until the last 3 minutes of the game to wake up. With another poor shooting game and late game injuries, Gunner Kovach lead the Tigers with 8 points and Dameon Newman, Anthony Cross, and Nick Whalen each had 4 points. However, this was not enough as Test fell to the Driver Hawks 30 to 49.

11-29-17 at Union County

The Test 7th grade boys basketball team pulled out a much needed win over Union County 44 to 29.  Our defense is starting to come around and we had some nice, balanced scoring.  Anthony Cross lead the team with 14 and help came from Gunner Kovach with 7, Sam Reising 6, Nick Whalen 5, Dameon Newman 4, Keyaun Potter 3, Evan Williams and Preston Bolser each with 2 and Jaylen Hemphill added a point. Great job Tigers!

11-30-17 at Northside (Muncie)

Sam Reising lead Test 7th grade with 8 points. Anthony Cross and Dameon Newman each had 6 and Keyaun Potter added another 5 points as the Tigers still fell a little short to Muncie Northside 42 to 33.

The Tigers host Brookville (Franklin County) tonight at 5:30 at Test and they face Dennis Thursday at RHS at 5:30 with the 8th grade to follow both nights.  Come out and support the Tigers!
