Richmond’s boys basketball team finds itself in the middle of a hotly contested North Central Conference race.
The Red Devils are 3-2 in league play, which is tied in the loss column with Marion, Muncie Central, and Lafayette Jeff.
Logansport sits atop the conference standings with a 5-1 record.
Richmond, 8-10 overall, will have its chance at conference glory with four of its next five games against NCC opponents. That stretch starts Friday night when the Devils travel to Kokomo. The game against the Wildkats tips at 8 p.m.
The Red Devils are then back at home Saturday when they play the conference-leading Berries at 7:30 p.m. Saturday’s game will also showcase up-and-coming Richmond players as teams from the RBL will play during halftime of the JV and varsity contests.
