Richmond played its finest offensive half of the season at Tiernan Center on Saturday.
But Logansport’s dynamic duo of Will Penny and Sam Skaggs proved too much in a dramatic rally for the visitors.
Logan tallied 50 points in the second half on its way to a thrilling 77-71 win against the Red Devils, who dropped to 8-12.
Will Penny had a game-high 28 points, while Skaggs added 25 to subdue a Richmond 3-point explosion.
For the game, the Red Devils connected on 12 3-point field goals, many in the first half as they led 45-27 at the break.
Junior Andrew Kroft had a team-high 20 points to lead the Devils, while Jordan Stolle had 17 points, including five 3-point field goals. Senior Lucas Kroft, who was honored prior to the game for scoring his 1,000th point, added 16 for Richmond, who returns to action on Tuesday in a non-conference game at Northmont (Ohio).
