Richmond Cross Country ran 2 meets this week with Boys placing 5th in the Wayne County Meet and 9th in the Randolph Southern Invitational.
The Boys are continuing to make progress and learning how to race. Hayden Scalf was a standout this week with his performance in both of these meets and earning his PR at Randolph Southern. Josh Jones placed 10th at the Wayne County Meet earning a medal with a time of 19:25, Preston Bolser finished 19th at 20:42, Hayden Scalf finished 27th at 21:09, RJ Thalls finished 29th at 21:25, Landon Smith finished 30th at 21:26, Alex Antrim finished 35th at 22:19, Owen Rogers finished 44th at 24:08 and Jaeden Mittenthal finished 51st at 27:05.
Grace Thalls and Alex Parker are feeling more confident each race and improving. Gracie finished 19th at 29:08 and first year runner Alex finished 24th at 31:19.
Randolph Southern Course was more difficult than it looked with many turns but the boys stayed determined without one of our top runners Landon Smith out due to injury. They finished 9th overall out of 17 teams. 3 of our 5 scoring runners are within 20 seconds of one another learning to run in a pack! Results:

Both Gracie Thalls and Alex Parker finished strong to the end with times of 27:10 and 28:00. These girls are staying determined to get better each practice and learning to run through the discomfort.
Boys and Girls will be at Union County Invite on Tuesday and Centerville Invite on Saturday.
