Boys Varsity Basketball · 13th Annual Bob Wettig Field Set

The 13th Annual Bob Wettig Memorial Tournament returns to Richmond on December 27 and 28, 2019.

The field is once again loaded with talent and several intriguing match-ups.

Defending champion Cathedral returns looking to extend their current streak (2) of Wettig titles.

Other returning teams that have made deep runs in the tournament include Zionsville, Greensburg, and Bloomington South.

Last year Armaan Franklin (Cathedral) earned MVP honors before heading to IU.  This year Anthony Leal (Bloomington South) has the opportunity to do the same.

You will notice a couple of changes to the format of this year’s tournament compared to previous years.  With Christmas falling on a Wednesday and Thursday being a practice/travel day, the tournament has been cut to two days.  This necessitated the field being trimmed down as well.

We have a 10 team tournament that will be played mostly at RHS. Two games on Day 2 will be played at Dennis Intermediate School. Below are the match ups and times for the first day and times for games on Day 2. With the tournament consisting of 10 teams this year everyone is guaranteed 2 games and most will play more.
