Although the Red Devils did not win this meet, the coaches were encouraged by the early season performances.
“Sunman Dearborn always brings tough competition, but their team also encourages some of Richmond’s best swims! I’m very pleased with the time improvements from my returners and the growth of our new swimmers over the past few weeks. Richmond’s camaraderie, sportsmanship, and performance in the water is something to be proud of!” -Ashley Duncan
“I am extremely proud of this team. They overcame a rocky and unsure start to the season. They didn’t win the meet as a team, but many personal best times were accomplished. Last night’s meet just showed how hard they have worked over the past month.” -Ben Quinn
“I think the first meet is the most important. Growing and learning throughout the season starts there. I’m so proud of how all of our swimmers did and I can’t wait to see them improve!” Avery Bohn
“I was really impressed with the support the kids provided to their teammates. Sportsmanship was shown by both teams . The room was full of cheers of encouragement!” -Jaxin Bohn
The Red Devils travel to South Dearborn Saturday, September 19.  100 tickets will be available at the door, and fans must wear masks.
