4-Hit Day For Wolfe Earns Richmond Red Devils Varsity Victory Over Indianapolis Arsenal Technical

Four hits from Wyatt Wolfe helped lead Richmond Red Devils past Indianapolis Arsenal Technical 20-1 at Grand Park on Tuesday. Wolfe singled in the second, doubled in the fifth, singled in the fifth, and singled in the fifth.

Richmond secured the victory thanks to 14 runs in the fifth inning. The Red Devils put the pressure on, lead by walks by Dustin Moore, Colton Fox, Moore, and Hayden Scalf, singles by Nick Whalen, John Carter, and Wolfe, an error on a ball put in play by Whalen, Carter, and Fox, and by Scalf.

In the first inning, Richmond Red Devils Varsity got their offense started. Whalen grounded out, scoring one run.

Richmond scored 14 runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to walks by Moore, Fox, Moore, and Scalf, singles by Whalen, Carter, and Wolfe, an error on a ball put in play by Whalen, Carter, and Fox, and by Scalf.

Scalf was the winning pitcher for Richmond. The righthander lasted five innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out 11.
Deel took the loss for Indianapolis Arsenal Technical. The hurler went four and two-thirds innings, allowing 19 runs on 14 hits and striking out two.

The Red Devils scattered 14 hits in the game. Wolfe, Whalen, Jackson Holland, Carter, and Scalf each racked up multiple hits. Wolfe went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Richmond in hits. The Red Devils tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Karma Guess led the way with three.

With Casey On The Mound, Richmond Shuts Out Indianapolis Arsenal Technical

Casey Blevins didn’t allow a single run as Richmond defeated Indianapolis Arsenal Technical 1-0 on Wednesday. Blevins allowed just two hits.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Blevins struck out eight, while Sosa sat down eight.
One bright spot for Indianapolis Arsenal Technical was a double by Sosa in the second inning.

Blevins led the Red Devils to victory on the hill. The bulldog surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out eight and walking zero.
Sosa took the loss for Indianapolis Arsenal Technical while going four innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out eight and walking one.

Nick Whalen and Blevins both had one hit to lead Richmond. Richmond was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Karma Guess made the most plays with eight.

The Red Devils host Lincoln during Senior Night at McBride Thursday at 5:30 PM.
