Richmond Boys Tennis earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory over sectional rival Hagerstown, with the entire match coming down to the final court. With players and fans from both teams watching and cheering, Tej Patel delivered the deciding third team point with a gutsy three-set victory, 6-4, 5-7, 6-3. Baltazar Torres-Mejia added a straight-set victory at No. 2 singles, winning 6-1, 7-5. At No. 2 doubles, Miguel Mira-Galeano and Samuel Diaz Forero battled through three sets to earn Richmond's other point, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2. At No. 1 singles, Xander Harrick fell 1-6, 6-7 (7-2) in a rematch of last fall's individual sectional championship match, which Harrick won.
