🎾 RED DEVILS TENNIS | FINAL BATESVILLE 3 | RICHMOND 2 Richmond Boys Tennis battled through another close dual match Tuesday night, falling 3-2 on the road at Batesville. Xander Harrick earned a straight-set victory at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-3. Tej Patel came through in the clutch once again at No. 3 singles, battling to a 7-5, 2-6, [10-6] victory. It marks another three-set win for Patel after he secured the deciding point in Richmond's 3-2 victory over Hagerstown last week. VARSITY RESULTS No. 1 Singles — Xander Harrick won 6-2, 6-3 No. 2 Singles — Baltazar Torres-Mejia lost 2-6, 3-6 No. 3 Singles — Tej Patel won 7-5, 2-6, [10-6] No. 1 Doubles — Mason Wetzel/James Scherer lost 0-6, 2-6 No. 2 Doubles — Miguel Mira-Galeano/Samuel Diaz Forero lost 3-6, 3-6 Richmond's JV squad had another strong showing, winning three of five matches.
