🎾 RED DEVILS TENNIS | FINAL RICHMOND 5 | LINCOLN 0 FIRST SWEEP OF THE SEASON! Richmond Boys Tennis put together its most complete team performance of the season Monday, earning a 5-0 sweep over sectional opponent Cambridge City Lincoln. Baltazar Torres-Mejia led the way with a dominant performance at No. 1 singles, cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 victory. At No. 2 doubles, Miguel Mira-Galeano and Samuel Diaz Forero continued their strong play with a 6-0, 6-3 win, while James Scherer and Mason Wetzel battled their way to a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 1 doubles. And once again, Tej Patel delivered in three sets! Patel won 6-1, 3-6, [10-4] and is now an impressive 5-0 in three-set matches this season. Richmond also picked up a singles victory by forfeit to complete the 5-0 sweep. The Red Devils improve to 4-4 on the season. After their first three victories all came by dramatic 3-2 scores, Richmond broke through with its first sweep of the year.
