CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS | WAYNE COUNTY INVITATIONAL Richmond Girls Cross Country finished 3rd at the 2026 Wayne County Invitational at the IU East Cross Country Course. TEAM RESULTS 1. Hagerstown – 40 2. Centerville – 41 3. Richmond – 47 4. Northeastern – 100 Richmond was right in the middle of a tight battle for the county championship, finishing just seven points behind Hagerstown and six behind Centerville. Lauren Newton led the Red Devils with a 5th-place overall finish, crossing the line in 22:57.59. RICHMOND FINISHERS 5th – Lauren Newton | 22:57.59 8th – Lena Allen | 24:04.63 14th – Caroline Swinney | 24:43.84 15th – Kemaira Farris-Craig | 24:51.23 20th – Olivia Allen | 27:01.33 23rd – Samantha Hileman-Dudas | 28:22.09 28th – Melanie Lafuze | 29:53.69 32nd – Alissa Lawson | 33:46.43 Lauren Newton and Lena Allen gave Richmond two runners among the first eight across the finish line, while Caroline Swinney and Kemaira Farris-Craig finished just seven seconds apart.
