MEET DAY | WILDCAT INVITATIONAL Richmond Cross Country is headed to Marion today for one of its biggest challenges of the season! The Red Devils will compete in the 2026 Wildcat / Jackson Classic Invitational at Indiana Wesleyan University. Saturday, September 12 Indiana Wesleyan University Marion, Indiana A large field of teams from across Indiana is scheduled to compete, including Richmond’s North Central Conference opponents Anderson, Kokomo, Lafayette Jefferson and Marion. The Richmond boys enter today with an outstanding start to the season, having captured THREE consecutive team championships: Richmond Hare & Hound Invitational Champions Rushville Classic Large School Champions Wayne County Champions Senior Cale Newton has also won three consecutive individual races and enters today coming off a Wayne County Championship performance of 16:10.69. The Richmond girls have continued to battle against strong competition this season and are coming off a 3rd-place finish at the Wayne County Invitational. Today brings another opportunity to compete, improve and represent Richmond against a deep field of runners from across the state.
