RED DEVILS RUN STRONG AT WILDCAT INVITATIONAL Richmond Boys Cross Country turned in an impressive performance against a deep field at the 2026 Wildcat / Jackson Classic Invitational at Indiana Wesleyan University. Richmond finished 7th out of 23 scoring teams in the Boys Varsity Red Race with 197 points — just ONE point behind Greenfield-Central for 6th. TEAM FINISH 1. Penn – 66 2. Yorktown – 71 3. Harrison (West Lafayette) – 108 4. FW Concordia Lutheran – 133 5. Lawrence North – 149 6. Greenfield-Central – 196 7. Richmond – 197 Cale Newton continued his outstanding senior season, leading Richmond with an 8th-place overall finish and breaking the 16-minute mark with a season-best 15:51.20. After three consecutive team championships, Richmond stepped into a much larger and deeper field and showed it can compete with some of the top programs from around the state.
