MEET DAY | CHS INVITATIONAL It’s race day for Richmond Cross Country! The Red Devils head to Connersville this morning as the Richmond Boys and Girls compete in the CHS Invitational. Saturday, September 26 9:00 AM Connersville High School 1100 Spartan Drive | Connersville, IN Richmond will compete in a field that includes Connersville, East Central, Rushville, Franklin County, Union (Modoc), Cambridge City Lincoln, Tri, Scecina Memorial, Indianapolis Lutheran, KIPP Indy and others. The Richmond boys are coming off an 8th-place finish against a strong field at Ceraland Park, where Cale Newton finished 9th in 15:50.7, and Dash Thacker placed 16th in 16:13.3. The Richmond girls were led last weekend by Lauren Newton, who ran 21:38.9. It’s another opportunity for the Red Devils to compete as the postseason draws closer.
