🎾 RED DEVILS TENNIS | DELTA INVITATIONAL RECAP + GAME DAY Richmond Boys Tennis battled through three matches Saturday at the Delta Invitational, finishing the day with a dramatic victory. DELTA 5 | RICHMOND 0 The Red Devils opened against No. 6 state-ranked Delta. Xander Harrick battled All-State opponent Jackson Darby before falling 3-6, 1-6. NORWELL 3 | RICHMOND 2 Richmond responded with a much closer battle. Harrick rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles, while Tej Patel earned a victory by forfeit. Baltazar Torres-Mejia nearly provided another point before falling in a three-set battle, 5-7, 6-3, [5-10]. RICHMOND 3 | BELLMONT 2 CLUTCH FINISH! Harrick and Patel gave Richmond two points with matching 6-0, 6-0 victories. With the team score tied 2-2, everything came down to No. 2 doubles. Samuel Diaz Forero and Miguel Mira-Galeano rallied after dropping the opening set to force a deciding tiebreaker. Leading 9-8 at match point, Diaz Forero delivered a blazing serve that Bellmont couldn't return to secure the 4-6, 6-2, [10-8] victory — and the 3-2 team win! 🎾 GAME DAY | REGULAR-SEASON FINALE The Red Devils are back on the road TODAY for their final regular-season match against NCC rival Anderson!
