Last Tuesday night the Red Devils struggled against the Jay County Patriots. What started out as a ball game in Richmond’s favor quickly turned in the second quarter as the Partiots began to knock down some shots. The Red Devils would trail by two going into half.
In the third, Richmond continued to rally, keeping the game close, but in the end the Patriots would go on yet another run eventually defeating the Red Devils 42-29. The Red Devils were balanced in scoring. Junior guard Ajah Orr led with 8 followed by Alayha Allen with 7 and Jakaia Lotz with 6.

In JV action the Red Devils also fell to a quick Patriots line-up in their last game of the season 33-12. Freshman Shelby Bolser led with 5 points. She was followed by Tristan Neeley with 4.

The varsity is back in action on tomorrow night for the first round of sectional where they face off for the second time this season against the Anderson Lady Indians. Come support your Varsity Girls Basketball team Tuesday February 4th at 7PM in the Tiernan Center.
