Saturday the Red Devils hosted McCutcheon High School. Both teams got off to a quick start making it a three point contest going into intermission. Scoring once again was sparked by the seniors Kierra Wright, Zoee Woolridge, and Kelsey Mullins. Third quarter McCutcheon got out to an advantage, extending their lead to twelve going into the final eight minutes. The Red Devils struggled to score inside and from the free throw stripe making only 40% from the line. Still Richmond managed to keep the game close until the final buzzer. The Red Devils would fall to McCutcheon 63-54. Red Devils are back in action at home tonight against Connersville. All scorers were led by Woolridge with 24 followed by Wright with 16.
JV would also struggle against Connersville. With their starting point guard also out, the Red Devils had a hard time getting into a rhythm. The Red Devils were only able to put up 11 points to McCutcheon’s 47. They also are back in action tonight against Connersville.
