Richmond got off to a rough start on their first couple of holes, but managed to pull it together for the win.
It was a long night, especially on the greens as Forrest Hills was playing as a true challenge for both teams.
The Red Devils was lead by their strong due of Karissa Owens and Jacey Cornett. Owens finished with a 44 to be low medalist and Cornett finished with a 45 to finish right behind her.
Brianna Fisher finished third overall with a 50 while fighting illness and freshman Esther Etherington stepped up once again with a 53.
Ashlyn Spurrier finished with a 55, but just missed a hole-in-one on her last hole to finish with some momentum going into the Union County Invitational tomorrow at Liberty Country Club.
Anderson was lead by their number one who finished with a 52.
Richmond’s JV had three freshman play tonight. They were lead by Macky Laughlin with a 64. Allison Capps followed with a 67 and Molly Mendenhall wrapped up the scores with a 75.
The team looks to bounce back tomorrow with a solid team score and continue getting better. Richmond is currently sitting at 10-0 overall through two events.
