Randolph Southern came to the Elks Country Club with little experience while Richmond came undefeated.
Both teams left with positives as Richmond continued their undefeated season. Randolph Southern gained valuable experience and their coach left thanking the team for how respectful and patient the Richmond Red Devils were.
Jacey Cornett fired a team low 36 while Brianna Fisher once again stepped up for the Varsity team with a 44.
Freshman Esther Etherington continued her impressive start with a 45 which Karissa Owens also fired. Ashlyn Spurrier had a very impressive birdie on the tough par 3 #6 on her way to a 49.
JV was led by a career low 44 by Mackenzie McGrew. Following her were Freshman Molly Mendenhall (66), Macky Laughlin (55), Allison Capps (63), and Junior Gabby Martinez (68) in only her second ever 9-holes.
The team travels to the Lapel Invitational this Saturday afternoon to face off against some solid teams. The team looks to continue their progression and keep getting better in their path to the post season.
