The Red Devils started off the first game of the Tipton Holiday Tournament against Clinton Central on Friday afternoon. Richmond was off to a quick start with the first bucket being a triple from junior guard Ajah Orr. The Bulldogs were scrappy on defense, but found scoring to be hard on the other end of the floor. The Red Devils would go up by nine heading into the second quarter. Although the Red Devils weren’t playing their best basketball, they still remained ahead throughout the first half with sophomore Jakaia Lotz leading the way. She had eleven going into the half.
In the third, the Bulldogs tried to make a run, but were unable to close the gap between them and Richmond. Ultimately the Red Devils would end up on top 47-33 at the final buzzer. Jakaia Lotz led all scorers with 19. She was followed by Ajah Orr with 14 and Alayha Allen with 10. Leading in rebounds was Jayci Allen with 9.

Prior to the first game, junior Kenzie Wert participated in the three point contest where she tied for second place.
